I am so incredibly thankful to have had Vito Carnovale as my real estate agent.

I was stressed trying to find an apartment, and had gotten nowhere in about a month. After telling him what I was looking for, he sent me countless listings that fit my criteria and was very patient with me as we went through the process. He helped me navigate through all of the documents that were required for my application. He consistently went above and beyond throughout the whole process to help me find a great unit. Not only that, but when I would tell him something that was going on in my life, he would check in during our next call and ask how it had gone. To me, it showed that he really cared about me personally and not just as a client. I would highly recommend Vito as a real estate agent to anyone that asked. Honestly, I couldn't thank him enough for everything he did for me.

Vito killed it for us.

Not only did he put up with our many annoying quirks and crazy schedule, he did an amazing analysis of the area we were looking at, and broke down an optimal ‘attack strategy’ for us. Most impressive was his genuine effort to not just get us a perfect house but get us a good deal on it. Most realtors will tell you to bid as much as possible (usually up to your max) to get a house, because the best scenario for them is to make the sale as quickly as possible so they can make commission with as little work as possible. Vito was the opposite, and talked us out of overbidding on a several places he assessed as over priced. It took a bit longer that way, but was so worth it. Our max was 1.15M. In the end we snagged a place for 950K, that was nicer, cheaper, and in a better location than any of the ones we were prepared to make offers on, but which Vito told us to walk away from. I kid-you-not after our sale finalized and was posted on MLS we found a Reddit thread (on the Toronto real estate subreddit) discussing our house and how no one could believe it went for under a million dollars. Oh and I have one more story to share. During our search there was one house we put an offer on that was accepted. However, on a hunch Vito told us to make it conditional on a home inspection. Most realtors will tell you never to do that. Sure enough during the inspection we found out the house had aluminum wiring throughout. Insurance companies would require all the electrical work to be replaced. Estimate was 50K in work. We noped out of that sale fast and thanked god we had a contingency. Honestly, I’ve always been very skeptical about realtors. I thought of them as middlemen, that you don’t really need except that the law requires it. I still somewhat think that’s true for most of the industry. However, there is no way we would have been be able to find a house as good as the one we got without Vito. 37 out of 10. Would recommend.
